Hello you freak children! Happy MLK day!

Just a little update…from SwordFist the band… We are still writing music. I don’t really know what else to tell you. We podcast every Monday, shits available on iTunes, “Doom & Ryan Give Up”.

So that’s all folks! Stay tuned… we’re really working on writing some of the best stuff we’ve ever come up with. That’s why we’re taking our time with all of it. Hang in there, peeps! We are anxiously awaiting the day we can show you this NEW CRAP!!! Thanks for paying attention! ~ryan

“new releases from the SwordFight”

Awhatup Suckas?? I just finished uploading tonights podcast and fucking around with other updates, and I thought, I have an idea! This has been spinning around the band talks every once in a while, but here’s the deal; SwordFight has like 38 songs or something. Two of those songs have been recorded.(ptswymm, 2am toddler) on reverbnation.com/swordfight - Ten or twelve of those bastards are brand spanking new and are gonna be on the new record in 2012. The idea I’m gettin at here is to record all the old songs and release them on three separate albums. It’s going to be fun! I already have the album art and concepts behind them… now it’s only recording the fucking tunes, then deciding how to lay them out in record listening form. There’s a lot going on the SwordFight camp, just not enough fucking hours in the day to get it done. Shit with everything we do, podcasts, recording, filming, writing, practicing, marketing, promotion, etc… this be a full time gig, not to mention our already full time REAL JOBS. I don’t sleep. Speaking of which, time to pass the fuck up then wake up in a few hours and do it all over again. God Damn it! Thanks and goodnight, I’m not even going to proofread this. ~R

SwordFight will NOT be playing the show tonight… We ain’t ready, boiz. We spend too much time talking on a podcast instead of writing songs and/or playing musical instruments. Because we realized it is easier to talk nonsense into microphones, record it, release it as an Internet Radio Broadcast, then that’s how we’re gonna fill our time… NOT! That’s not entirely true, Siri. All of us work some evil and grueling hours everyday at shitfuckass jobs and then do music or podcasts every night & day of the week. We tired, son. Fuck it. We do it anyway. This is fun to us. PUTTIN’ IN THAT WORK! For real though…

~HEY are you really reading this? It’s September, summer’s almost kind of over. Had some really good times this past few weeks or months or something. Fun times being had. SwordFight the band are writing a new record. An as-of-yet-untitled release. We’re fuckin’ around recording demo songs and spontaneous jams and such. Songs like, “Tre’ Voryss Berkowitz”, “Five Hour EnerGeezus”, “Dolphin Debauchery”, “Draculasagna”, and “Chemical Brother-In-Law” are among the few to be found on a release sometime soon. well. We have a show on July 22nd @ the 2bit Saloon in Ballard,

WA. We will be demonstrating said ‘new’ songs.

Hey PEOPLE… we do not have any shows booked as of yet. We’re taking a little bit of time to write a new record. Hopefully four or five NEW tunes will surface here in the near future. And then some more-sometime after that. Ideas have been conceptualized… or basically a fancy way of saying there is an abundance of dope riffery stockpiled and ready to jam out and arrange.

BOOK US TO PLAY AT YOUR HOUSE PARTY, Or anyone’s house party for that matter. We still have a setlist and can play or whatever but, we just aren’t doing the regular Everett-bar-gig-every-month-party-your-ass-off” type of shows right now. Not that there’s anything wrong with that type of show, but, we’re just gonna stay out of the way for now. Unless a really DOPE show comes our way!!! Show nuff’.
